Views from around the farm today…

The last of the poppies are hanging on better than expected, as some mini volunteer sunflowers join them.

The larkspur is looking about as good as ever but will decline over the next couple weeks from here.

The bachelor buttons are still going strong with no signs of slowing down.

So what’s new?

The black eyed Susan and Shasta daisy combo is at full bloom and looking beautiful.

The native meadow also has lots of black eyed Susan, along with some purple coneflower, bee balm, and others.

Most of the spent poppies have been mowed down to make way for the pumpkins and corn. We hope to plant pumpkins this Saturday after things dry out more.

Fall will be here before we know it!

For now though, our first Firefly & S’mores days are next weekend (June 19-20). We’ll have “sunset hayrides” to the flowers for picking and photos.

We are also still taking appointments for photo sessions in the flowers. Just send a message to set it up.

Join us for classic summer fun with marshmallow and hotdog roasting, firefly catching, plus sunset hayrides and flower picking.

Bring the kids along for family fun or leave them at home for a Date Night!

✨ Fireflies/lightning bugs come out around 9 pm. We have nets you can borrow.
🔥 Firepits will be going all night. We'll sell u-roast hotdogs and s'mores kits with roasting sticks.
🌸 "Sunset hayrides" to our flower fields and supplies for u-pick vases.
🎨 Make a firefly light-up jar craft to take home.
🍩 Cold drinks, warm mini donuts, ice cream bars, popsicles, chips, u-roast hotdogs with buns and condiments, and of course s'mores.
🏀 Play yard games and run around our play area.
🦚 Hang out with our farm animals.

We take cash, cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Crafts, s’more kits, u-pick flowers, food and drink are extra. All other activities including the hayride come with admission.

The sun is beginning to set on our poppy season. This weekend is it. Your last chance to come pick a bouquet in these fields. The corn and pumpkins can’t wait much longer to take their place!

Flower field update…photos from today

The poppies are holding up well so far. They do not like the heat so they will degrade some but I think they should still be pretty full this weekend (but not much longer than that).

The larkspur are looking better than ever and should continue to go strong for a couple weeks.

The bachelor buttons are past their peak but not by a lot.

We have more and more Shasta daisy blooming, along with black eyed Susan. It’s not on the level of a photo backdrop but there are plenty for picking.

This weekend is the last of the season so come take one last hayride back to the flowers and pick a nice bouquet!
