I've gotta say, working with horses for any kind of a session, especially an engagement session was a first for me, but I absolutely adore how these turned out! 😍

We had beautiful weather for this sweet shoot, and I'm looking forward to shooting their wedding next Spring!

After a last minute change due to some crazy rain the day before their ceremony, they still ended up with a gorgeous day outside, and we were able to sneak out and grab some truly memorable pictures for the Medellin family!

It's always a pleasure to be part of a couples special day, and this one was no different! This one was full of sweet little special moments and emotions, and we were so grateful to be a part of it! Congrats to Cody and Megan on their special day!

ONE YEAR.

I love that every wedding follows a formula -- getting ready, wedding party portraits, maybe a first look, the ceremony, more portraits, the reception and finally the send off -- but I love even more that every single couple is different, and full of characteristics and charm that are unique to each couple.

Haile + Jeff are a couple that you can tell absolutely are head over heels in love with each other, and they rolled with every single crazy punch that came through on their wedding day. Potential rain threatening the ceremony (which resulted in a nice cool ceremony in June), an unusually warm temperature in the upstairs getting ready areas until the cool front hit (Texas heat y'all), a pregnant photographer, Jeff throwing the garter so high it got stuck in the chandelier... 😂

They laughed, they cried -- I cried too, let's be real -- and they celebrated all day long.
