I always see hype about "Fat Bear Week" in Alaska this time of year, but I think we should start a "Fat Sealion Week" here in Valdez especially since they can weigh up to 2500 pounds! That's 1000 more pounds than the fattest bear this time of year!

I no longer do costuming for theatrical events but I am still a costume, props, & staging provider. It's fun to see my items brought to life on stage. Kudos to the Costumers who still have to sew, find missing needed pieces, deal with stinky laundry & keeping track and putting up with Divas & Divuhs! I don't miss that part at all!

Opening night was electric! After weeks of rehearsals, sawdust, laughter, and late nights, the curtain finally went up, and wow, what a ride. Our cast and crew brought the show to life, and the energy from such amazing audience’s made it unforgettable. The magic has officially begun! Why, oh WHY did I not get to stage homes back in the early 70's?!?!? I would definitely have used that color carpeting with this lovely pieces of furniture. Alas, if only in my dreams.

When it's 100 Day at school and your Aunt Kay owns a costume rental business... Ren is taking it to the next level! I was actually at the theater so my niece FaceTimed me so I could direct them where to find what he needed. I wish I would have been there so I could talk him in to the Wingtip shoes instead of his tennis shoes!
