We had double features this last Saturday at Alaska Raceway Park!
We started the day way off running 17.4s and 17.3s if we were lucky, we were still the fastest car for a while. Eventually running the most consistent laps at 17.1s.
Qualified p2 with a 17.0 in a tight field.
In the first feature, due to the rookie rule, I had to start 6th and work my way around the others. Everybody raced me respectfully. Once I got out to some decent air I was running the most consistent laps and was catching the leaders 1-2 tenths a lap but having to start behind those other cars, and having a 30 lap feature with no cautions made it to where I didn’t have enough time to get to the leaders. Still made it up to finish p3 1 second behind the leader!
I considered this a pretty good recovery from starting at the back.
In the second feature, we had to start 10th due to the rookie rule and a complete invert. It took me 10 laps the get up to 4th and I was again running the most consistent and reeling in the top 3. I had made it within 2-4 car lengths of third place before 2nd and 3rd caused a caution. We restarted 4th but had another caution and restarted 4th again on the outside. Ended up making the outside work and made it to the line in a “photo finish” with Alex in the 99. I finished in 3rd 0.048 behind second place.
Overall 2 third places are good finishes. We steeped strong speed and consistency and will be back for more next time.
Congrats to Hunter on your first win, and congrats to Bryan on yet again another win!
We can’t wait for the next race, we know we have a good piece and will be back just a strong and hopefully can capitalize with some even more good finishes!

A weekend that our finishing position didn’t show our speed.
We started off practice day working on my lines and slowly improving. Worked down to my fastest laps I had ever ran on practice day.
On Raceday I started a bit more off than what I wanted but we made an adjustment and gained a tenth. With old tires I was pretty happy where I was. We went into qualifying and ended up 4th. I messed up in qualifying. I think I could’ve done better but it’s all a learning experience.
Drew a 6 again for my starting spot. It took around 20 laps for the car to come in. After lap 20, I was the fastest car on track even in traffic. I passed 3 cars with good advice and help from my spotter and ended up 3rd at the halfway break.
We had made an adjustment but never got to really test it out. At the drop of the green flag going into turn one I got ran over and shoved into a couple other cars messing up my car pretty bad.
This pushed me all the way to 6th, where i ended up finishing. I still feel like I would’ve had a chance to go for the win but with the damage that happened to the car, it ended what could’ve been a good finish quickly.
We work hard for these opportunities, and I am grateful for everyone that has helped me through my career. We will regroup and come back stronger next race, until then, we have two races in Alaska to make more improvements!
I want to thank all of my amazing sponsors who help me be able to race

This pretty much sums up how our night went.
Got absolutely driven through.. then the kid says “don’t brake check me”.
It doesn’t take a genius to see what happened here. Weekend recap soon. Our luck will hopefully turn around soon.
