.223 is a rock/metal band out of Quartz Hill, a small town in the Southern California desert.
Long post. This project has essentially been down for about a year now. It took me a long time to decide whether or not to share this video, because I wanted to wait until I had a studio recording of this song. This song was written about 10 years ago, but it was never recorded as a studio version. Hopefully, that'll change someday. But I'm really happy with the song itself as well as the performance and I've finally decided to share this live video. It's from the last show .223 performed in Sept 2023. The video is live on YouTube.
This video was filmed by my son Nieco.
The audio was mixed and mastered by Aaron Latanzi.

The next time someone asks me what it’s like having ADHD I’m going to tell them to look up this clip. The vigorous racing sound of the violin is how our thoughts speed through our minds CONSTANTLY. But there’s also something so soothing n peaceful about the tone of it all. Even though the pace of the notes seem chaotic when u really focus on the playing there’s still a sense of calm in the fluidity of it all. The jumping from thought to thought feels this natural even when they’re doing so in the middle of other thoughts because our minds don’t function any other way. It’s interesting how some things r better explained without words.
