Most people associate grief with the death of a loved one, but grief can also result from divorce, retirement, a serious diagnosis, financial hardship, the loss of a job, a broken relationship, or other significant life changes.

Many people struggle in silence because they don't recognize what they're experiencing as grief or they believe they should simply "get over it."

At Pivotal Health Systems, we believe kindness means meeting people where they are and supporting them through life's challenges. As a Christian-centered practice, we are committed to caring for the whole person and helping our community find hope, healing, and connection.

That's why we're honored to host a Grief Recovery Workshop designed to provide practical tools, encouragement, and support for those navigating loss.

🚨 We Need Help — Before Burnout Wins 🚨

Right now, this rescue is being run by just five people… and a small group of volunteers who step in where they can.

That’s it.

Behind the scenes, it’s long days, late nights, and doing whatever it takes to make sure every single cat is fed, safe, and cared for. It’s cleaning floors late at night, juggling emergencies, messages, outreach events, emails and stretching ourselves thin because the animals depend on us.

But the truth is — this is not sustainable.

We are incredibly grateful for every volunteer who gives their time, even if it’s just an hour a week. You all keep us going..

But the reality is, one-hour shifts alone are not enough to keep up with the daily demands of this rescue.

👉 We need people who can:

Step in when we’re short-handed
Stay a little longer when needed
Help with cleaning, laundry, feeding, and daily care
Be available for occasional on-call needs
Show up consistently and be part of the team

This rescue survives because people choose to show up — not just when it’s convenient, but when it’s needed. We have our small group that shows up.
