Picked up a new account it’s a marina 5 minutes from my shop. Good fill in work to get us off the big projects for a bit so much appreciated for the opportunity

I recently did an all over on a Camry and less than 2 weeks later the owner comes back in with his 83 yr old father and his fathers truck . Although in great shape overall it had some slight rust issues and from what I saw 6-8 small spots of bodywork along the truck with a few bigger spots on the tailgate . As you can see in the pics 23 areas of bodywork later it’s ready for primer then paint. I promised to make this truck exceptionally nice for him and made sure to get every flaw taken care of at absolutely no extra cost from original work order. Never a better compliment than a referral and especially a family member so I am beyond thankful for this job and can’t wait to see the finished results on Tuesday from my hard work . Fun fact always use a white base coat under your actual color when painting over a darker color primer to assure best color match and vibrancy when painting a Red or Yellow vehicle . Single panel painting this Red Kia and although I strongly advised blending into door and hood for a perfect match the owner only wants to paint the fender . I had my paint supplier camera current paint variance so should be close but always a nightmare matching Red when single panel painting. Will post pics when done

Florida sun is helping me out today on this job by getting the primer dried a lot faster. Just a quick 2 panel job on a 1 day turnaround
