This Chinese pistachio planted by the builder was giving up the ghost last summer. After a bit of care from our team it is looking completely different this year!!!🌳🌲❤️
We were contacted by a homeowner about how this tree has been showing decline and becoming more infested with mistletoe and disease. The HOA wanted to possibly remove it to mitigate the risk of failure.
After an assessment we planned to structurally prune out the deadwood infested with disease and mistletoe. After the prune we treated the soil to replenish many depleted nutrients and to encourage root growth and nutrient uptake.
After the leaf out of the canopy we have seen much darker growth and over all health has improved!
We will be monitoring and continuing to care for this tree to see how it continues to improve in the future and recover from the issues plaguing it.🌳🌲❤️

Topping Kills trees! This poor pecan had massive decay all the way down one side on the opposing side of the lean,endangering this home and had to be removed. Even though a topped tree may leaf out year after year the decahy will spread from the cuts until the tree is structurally a major hazard and will begin to break apart.
Structurally pruning by an arborist will avoid these disasters.
