STOP BY FOR A FREE CHAIR MASSAGE & SUPPORT WELLNESS PLACE: On Wed, Oct 17 the DPWN, Palatine is hosting a "Pink Party with a Purpose" at the Lamplighter Inn Tavern & Grill from 5 - 8pm. The event will feature educational info, networking, pink hair extensions, raffles, and door prizes. Tickets are $10 and include a specialty drink, pizza and dessert. A portion of the evening's proceeds will be donated to WP. For more information call 847-991-2420.

Yesterday for the annual Komen Race for a Cure, I brought Myla, our 11 mos old rescue puppy. She walked the 3 miles, enjoyed making new friends along the route and especially loved the character moose......It's like a huge stuffed toy to play with!!!!

I just successfully completed this humbling oncology massage class instructed by Isabel Adkins. It was truly a life changing experience and I'm even more devoted to this massage modality.
