Twas' the night before book fair and all through the hall, students, teachers, all readers couldn't wait for books to call.
The books were all waiting on shelves without a care, hoping that readers soon would be there.
The readers were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of favorite titles danced in their heads.
The teachers were dreaming of bookish delight, of stories and poems that would fill up the night.
They dreamt of young readers, their minds open wide, embracing the magic that books would provide.
And out in the hallway, a parent stood near, with a list of books that their child held so dear.
They planned their purchases, with excitement and glee, anticipating the joy that their child would surely see.
So come to the book fair, with choices so deep, and discover the treasures that await you to keep.
For books are the gateways to worlds far and wide, where dreams take you soaring, on an endless ride.

"I didn't know we had mythology!!" π«Άπ»
Just one of the quotes that made me so happy during the shelf shuffle as students explored. Many adventures, new characters to meet, and topics to learn about within these shelves!

Sharing a few moments that filled my heart! π©· Adorable siblings, shirts that match football legends, good morning smiles, and discovering new books to read!
K-5 participated in the "shelf shuffle" this week. Students used browsing sticks to become "anywhere explorers" and discovered many new sections of our library they might not have visited before... all while keeping the books organized. So proud of them! ππ» My favorite part was seeing so many hands raised when I asked who found a NEW section they want to go back and explore... ππ» π ππ» π ππ» π ππ»
I also have to show off my new earrings made by one of our own hawk family members (and future entrepreneurs) that match perfectly with our spirit wear!
Happy Reading!

This week Kindergarden, First, and Second Graders became book doctors. The damaged books were the patients in need of a check up. Seeing the faces on the readers when they found the problems that occurred were priceless. They took such ownership and pride in making sure our books are cared for. Third graders learned how to place books on hold and access their Destiny account. The bins are full of holds already! Fourth and Fifth graders added books to a "favorites" list they want to read this year. Always lots of action in the library.
