🔥 Residential Open Burn Season Starts November 1 🔥

Pahrump’s Open Burn Season runs November 1 through May 15. Residents may burn natural yard waste with a valid permit, but must follow all safety rules.

✅ Burn hours: • Weekdays: 8 AM – 4 PM • Weekends: 8 AM – 12 PM • Only one 3’x6’ pile at a time, 20’ from structures • Must be attended by an adult with a water hose nearby

🚫 No burning of trash, furniture, or construction debris 🚫 No accelerants like gasoline or diesel 🚫 No burning on legal holidays or when winds exceed 5 mph

📝 Permits issued during regular office hours, Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
Applicants must be the property owner and provide a copy of their homeowner’s insurance declarations page and driver’s license.

📞 Call in each day you plan to burn with your permit number, address, and burn type.

Homicide Investigation Update

Attached is a wanted flier with updated descriptors and photographs of Anthony Aguilar, wanted for the homicide that occurred on 7/5/2025. Anthony Aguilar is considered armed and dangerous.
Fabian Ferrante is no longer classified as a suspect, but he is a person of interest wanted for questioning.
Anyone with information is asked to contact law enforcement.

The Town of Pahrump is excited to announce the 2025 swim lessons at the Community Pool! 🏊‍♂️

📅 In-person registration: June 9th & 10th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (No phone sign-ups) 📆 Three two-week sessions: ✅ June 16th –27th ✅ June 30th – July 11th ✅ July 14th – 25th

🕒 Class times: 🌟 10:15 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. 🌟 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. 🌟 6:15 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.

🚨 No class on July 4th: make-up session on July 5th!

🏡 Classes offered: 👶 "Mommy and Me" (ages 2 and under) 👧 Standard swim lessons (ages 3 and up)
