Pacoima Beautiful
Planting grassroots in Pacoima since 1996
Pacoima Beautiful is a grassroots environmental justice organization that provides education, impacts local policy, and supports local arts and culture in order to promote a healthy and sustainable San Fernando Valley.
We wrapped up May with a very successful Mercado! 🌿 With more than 180 plants distributed to community members, donated by our very own Mr.List and we’re excited to see them take root and thrive in yards throughout the neighborhood.
A huge thank you to our CIs, volunteers, and donors who helped make this event possible. Your support and generosity are what keep Mercado growing! 💚
Missed this one? We’ll be back on the last Saturday of the month. Join us on June 27, 2026 at 9 AM at Pacoima City Hall and stop by while supplies last!

Our May Mercado was a huge success! Thanks to our amazing community, we distributed hundreds of pounds of fresh produce, from grapefruits and lemons to bok choy, and gave away fruit plants so families can start growing their own food at home. Thank you to for their generous contributions of bok choy and avocados!
We also collected nearly 90 pounds of compost, helping reduce organic waste going into landfills.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and we can’t wait to see you again at our next Mercado on June 27 at 9:00 AM!
