This morning, I had the esteemed pleasure of being the emcee of the Leigh Stampede 5K Run/Walk hosted by the Leigh_Sports_Boosters!
Bravo to of all those who toed the line! It was a sold out event supporting the students and programs at at Leigh High School in San Jose!
A huge shout out to mascot, LeighRoy! I can now say I have taken a photo with a Longhorn!
Way to go to all the finishers, volunteers, parent boosters, first responders, and others who made today special! 💚💛

I love this part of my race directing role…creating community engagement through grassroots efforts such as building Ambassador programs. It is such an organic way to build engagement and allow the representatives a role in the planning process. It takes a village to put on a race and I’m grateful to those who heed my call when I reach out!
