One of the things I’m adamant about when I drink my whisk(e)y, is having a proper glass. Huge shout out to for reaching out and sending me a few beautiful Japanese whiskey glasses!

This one is called the Fuji - and it’s incredible. It has nice weight to it, it’s perfectly balanced, and fits perfect in the hand. It’s designed to look like the mouth of Mt. Fuji in Japan, and is handmade!

Well, this is the end of this week’s takeover - the Cohiba Talismán Edición Limitada 2017. This is a stellar cigar that is quite different from the delicate Cohiba profile that you are probably accustomed to. This is full flavor with some interesting complexities and medium plus in strength
Appearance: like the typical EL’s, this sports a nice rich reddish brown, darker wrapper with flawless construction. Very minimal seams with a perfect tight pigtail
Flavor: heavy wood, leather, espresso and some very nice hints of cinnamon. A few really great transitions that alternated between those flavors, and some beautiful creaminess

This week I’m featuring the amazing Cohiba Talismán Edición Limitada 2017, which is a 6 1/12 x 54 robusto extra. This cigar has the classic flavors: earth, nuts, espresso, leather and some hints of cinnamon. This is a medium plus bodied stick that is pushing full strength. The appearance is a beautiful reddish brown wrapper that sports a pigtail cap. Have you had one? What did you think?

This is the Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos with about 8 years of age on them. They may be small, but they sure pack a punch! Distinct flavors of chocolate, coffee, cedar and a creamy buttercream sweetness. Full body and medium plus in strength. If you haven’t had these, get some
