Met up with and .lederer for a nice spin to Alice’s Restaurant, Pigeon Point Lighthouse and Devils Slide on the Highway 1. Loved the Touring and thanks for the drive Bengt!

The only BMW Art Car which is not in BMWs own collection: Frank Stellas Polar Co-Ordinate M1 which was owned by Peter Gregg. In 1978, Stella and Gregg were in Monza to watch Ronnie Peterson, a friend of Stella, racing in a Formula 1 Lotus. The race ended in an absolute tragedy with a fatal collision for Peterson who died in the hospital later. In August 1979, nearly a year after Petersons death, Stella handpainted Peter Greggs M1 Procar, Chassisnumber 9403-1053, as a part of Stellas „Polar Co-Ordinate“ series, to celebrate the life and accomplishments of the duo‘s early departed friend.

Also happy to see this very special CSL. It is the 3rd one ever built and was used as a rallye car for BMW Motorsport with the license plate M-AH 1072. It participated in the Olympia Rallye 1972 with Rauno Aaltonen behind the wheel. A piece of history!

Brillant red 308 in its full pride. Thanks to for creating a glossy shine on the 535i. The engine shines like new - perfectly preserved for the next 30 years.

HAURUCK was the headline when this particular BMW ALPINA 2800 CS was tested by Manfred Jantke for in July 1970. Nice to see this beautiful piece of ALPINA history back on track driven by at
