Does your playground have enough mulch to protect kids from falls?
After a full season of use, mulch breaks down, compacts, and thins out, especially in the spots that get the most action like under swings and at the bottom of slides. What looked fine last fall may not be providing the protection it should be.
Summer is the perfect time to get it taken care of. Kids are out of school, playgrounds are quiet and we can get in and out before the fall rush hits.
We blow certified playground mulch - fast, efficient and minimal disruption to your facility. Our schedule is filling up and spots are going quick, so don't wait until it's too late!
Send us a message and we'll get you on the calendar!!

Slopes. Rocky terrain. Hard-to-reach areas.

We're proud to have completed the first phase of riparian corridor restoration along Shady Grove Creek in Webster Groves between Thornton and Ravine Avenue at Lorraine Davis Park, restoring an approximately 2 acre section of stream corridor.
Our crews carefully removed invasive vegetation using low impact methods while protecting existing native plants. All disturbed areas were seeded with a native seed mix to support long term habitat recovery, improve biodiversity, and help reduce erosion and stormwater impacts to Shady Grove Creek and Deer Creek.
While the first phase is complete, it's important to note that final results won't occur over night. The native seed should begin germinating in the coming weeks, but full establishment is a multiyear process, typically taking up to three years to fully develop and stabilize.
This project is part of a larger effort to improve water quality, reduce runoff from surrounding drainage areas, and restore the natural function of the riparian corridor while also providing a visible example of stream restoration in action for the public.
We'll return this fall for stewardship activities to help ensure the restoration continues to thrive.
Thank you to our project partners City of Webster Groves, Deer Creek Watershed Alliance, Missouri Botanical Garden, Missouri Department of Natural Resources, and Forest Releaf of Mo for their collaboration and support!
Work is underway at Lorraine Davis Park in Webster Groves!
Our crew is on the ground removing invasive species along Shady Creek Grove - clearing out years of bush honeysuckle, winter creeper, English ivy and more to make way for native plants and a healthier ecosystem.
This riparian corridor restoration is a big deal for the Webster Groves community and for the health of Deer Creek. We’re proud to be the team trusted to get it done!
Harry Hensley, our Environmental Solutions Manager, is leading the crew on site every step of the way. Stay tuned for before and after photos as the transformation comes together!

🌍 Earth Week Tip #2:
Not all erosion control is created equal. Using the wrong BMP (Best Management Practice) on your site doesn't just waste money - it can mean failing inspections and contributing to stormwater pollution.
The difference between a Filtrex filter sock and a straw wattle might seem small, but it makes a big impact on how well your site stays compliant and how clean your runoff stays.
ECO Constructors helps contractors and developers choose the right BMPs for every job. Let's get it right the first time.

🌍 Earth Week Tip #1:
Did you know native plants do more than look good? They support pollinators, improve soil health, and reduce runoff all while requiring less maintenance than traditional landscaping.
At ECO Constructors, we help homeowners and commercial properties establish native plant solutions that work with the environment, not against it. And if you're thinking about a raingarden, check out our friends at Show Me Raingardens - we're proud sponsors!!

This Earth Week, consider going native.

🌍 Earth Week is April 18-22 and we're showing up for it!
As a proud Earth Day 2026 partner, we're spending all week highlighting the practical ways our work actually protects the environment - from keeping stormwater clean to restoring native plants to the landscape. This is what we do every day and Earth Week is the perfect time to talk about why it matters.
Environmental protection isn't just a checkbox for us. It's the job!
Follow along all week next week!
