If your watch stops ticking forward, it may just be because of Irina Boika. MMD Smart’s team leader of the Back Office Team is working on developing her superpower to stop time, so she can sit and enjoy the moment.

Irina, who has been a part of MMD Smart for nearly two years, is this week’s Employee Spotlight.

She likes to describe MMD Smart as a place where smart people work in a cozy atmosphere where they are constantly given the opportunity to grow professionally.

She mixes business with pleasure on her phone (who doesn’t these days), so if you’re skimming through her pictures, you’ll find screen shots for work, decorations from New Year’s (We heard it was amazing), and a picture of her dog helping her get to work.

If you’re new to MMD Smart, but the way, Irina says the most important thing to do constantly ask questions. The team is full of people like you who didn’t always know a lot about telecom, and they’re always eager to help.

Andrew’s name means courageous, which he needs as he dreams of parachute jumping and floating through space. His last name is a palindrome and can be read both forward and backward.

If he could travel back in time, Andrew would head to Nuremberg 1945, where he would look those people in the eye and try to understand what moved them. Then, he would head to Berlin 1989 and grab a pebble from the Berlin wall.

You might not know it, but Andrew loves building furniture. He also enjoys riding bikes with his wife and daughter on their way to a new restaurant for dinner.

Andrew wishes he could read minds but fear not. He doesn’t want to do it all the time, and he would only do it when he had to.

Andrew has been at MMD Smart for 7 years. He loves the people he works with, who help create a great working environment. He’s had a lot of adventures over the years, including that train ride to Bukovel, but as they say, what happens in the Carpathian Mountains stays in the Carpathian Mountains.

Andrew’s career has seen him move from testing to routing. His advice for new employees is “Learn, develop, do not be afraid. You can achieve more if you reveal yourself.”
