Introduction Zack jones

Hello everyone, Zack Jones here, last year’s Wyld Stallions bike build champion. Going to do all I can to hang onto the ever so coveted Brass Stallion Trophy! Last year I used the competition to build my personal chopper I had been wanting to build for years, a 78 Low Rider. This year I’m taking advantage of the opportunity again as an excuse to build my old lady a chopper to ride with me. This year it will be an Ironhead. I have an old rigid frame I got in a deal awhile ago. It had a 68 Ironhead in it at the time, but the cases were cracked so I picked up a 76, Which is a cool year, as Harley did a commemorative bicentennial paint edition celebrating 200 years of the good ol USA. It’s going to be a lot of work, as I learned from last year’s comp. I’m going to have Tanya make all the design decisions, like skins and stance. It’ll be fun letting Tanya go nuts with the paint on her own bike! Can’t wait to hit the ground running and get this build started!!! See y’all soon!!!

Introduction Mack Godfrey

Introduction
My name is MacKenzie Godfrey aka Mack Blank and I am a 38 year old brother, son, husband and step father who is from Fowlerville MI. Motorcycles have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but they didn’t become a big presence in my life until The Great Biker Build Off series in the early 2000s. It ignited a passion for 2 wheeled machine and I knew they would somehow become a major part of my life. Now as an adult, I have been a motorcycle mechanic for the better part of a decade and I also builds custom bikes as a hobby. The Wyld Stallions Build Competition is giving me the opportunity to put my skills up against other people which is something I have never done before. For the competition I will be building a 1985 Yamaha virago with the goal of making it a 70s inspired narrow chopper.

Introduction Franklin grimes

Frank Grimes
Defiance, Ohio

I'm 33 years old, from Defiance, Ohio I got into bikes pretty seriously about 4 years ago when I got my first big twin harley. I started building bikes after watching my dad build his 73 chopper from nothing but an old frame he found in a friend's barn. Once I realized this was something we could actually do, the sky why the limit. While I agree it would be alot easier to start a build with a complete motorcycle, I really enjoy the challenge of building from basically nothing. There's just a feeling of accomplishment knowing there isn't one bolt you haven't turned.

For the competition, I will starting with a 76' FX frame and most of an engine

Introduction Jon Wysong

My name is Jon Wysong, I live in the middle of nowhere Michigan also known as fenwick. I will be working on a 1978 fxs Harley Davidson. The starting point will be the frame that I hardtailed last year. It's a new year and with that a new opportunity to be a part of this competition. As far as a direction I plan on going with this bike I'm shooting for starvation levels of skinny. Other then that I'm just going to take it as it comes and work through any problems that may arise. I am thankful for another chance to participate in this event and look forward to making it to the finish

I’m married to a wonderful woman and we have 5 children between us. Our family is deep in our faith and we owe everything to Jesus. My grandpa and dad are both into motorcycles so it just got passed down to me. I love building bobbers and the shop sold a record number of 20 bikes last year! Nic Carlin I’m 37 years old. I’m a father of 5, 2 biological kids and 3 bonus kids so free time is somewhat of a rare thing in my house. I have always been into custom cars and bikes. I currently have in my stable a 1971 FLH I’m restoring, a 2006 Honda shadow I have chopped and customized, a 2018 FLHTK, a KP mini 150, and a 2007 V-Star that I’m hoping to sell to purchase my competition build bike. I’ve been a “professional” welder since 2006 and spent the last year learning cnc machining. Last year’s competition was an awesome experience and I’m really looking forward to having more competitors and seeing what all they come up with

Hello everyone I’m Josh Brust 31 years old, from Sedalia, Missouri. I’ve been raised on and around motorcycles since I was a young child. I’m a father of 4 with an amazing fiancé, my building journey really kicked off a little over 4 years ago when I got sober and got away from alcohol, it’s not only a way of life, but a way of freeing my self and mind from all my demons and making me a better man for my family which is the eternal goal! Building bikes is our way of bringing family together and loving the wind in our faces! I will be building a 1986 883 sportster that my father bought brand new from Yeager’s cycle in 1986, 5 owners later I had the chance to buy it back and here we are today!

Ovid
I am a 52 year old from ovid Michigan I have lived in the area most of my life. I am a former industrial education educator.(shop teacher). I have been riding and working on motorcycles since I was 5.
Looking forward to participating in the build this year I learned a lot from participating in last year’s build. I will be building a one of a kind Triumph bobber.
For some odd reason some of you would like some more info about me. I am a Leo who likes to take long walks on the beach. (LOL) I have a wonderful wife Karen who puts up with my crap. I currently have a custom cb 750 with custom heel toe shifter setup so I can ride it do to bad genes and life decisions I lost use of my left ankle and foot. Some wonderful friends hooked me up with a hondamatic so I will be able to ride a lot more this year. The main goal will be to build a bike I can ride safely so the plan is to build a right hand jockey shift with left hand clutch. My main influences are Ed Roth, Ron Finch, and Kenny Howard. And as always be safe be cool and be excellent to each other

Hello my name is Derek Long as I write this I’m 38 years old I have wife and 2 boys. I am located in Mid-Michigan, I am very happy to be taking this ride with all of y’all again from the returning faces to the new ones, to you all I tip my hat. Last year was a blast a stressful and challenging blast so let’s do it all again. And I am thankful for all the support that I have received in and out of this endeavor. This year I have one goal build a bitchin scoot and be able to grab onto to the wyld stallions horse trophy that slipped through my fingers and landed in Zack jones hands for winning last year’s event. So the goal is set but the build has just begun so this year I have a Harley evo sportster motor that I will be starting with and a design within my head and some steel. From there make it work, make it sketchy and make it memorable. Let’s do this thang.
