We’re incredibly proud to be partnering with GROwasso, a teen-led community composting initiative that’s tackling food waste, food insecurity, and sustainability head-on — right here in our backyard.
These students aren’t just talking about change. They’re doing it.

From collecting food scraps ➡️ to creating compost ➡️ to helping nourish local community gardens, this program is turning everyday waste into real, tangible good.

Food scrap collection bins are available at Owasso Community Resources located at 109 N Birch St during regular business hours for anyone wanting to participate in GROwasso! Collection bins come with a handy sticker that lists the most common compostable items, as well as a link to our website so you can learn more about us.
We are so thankful for the support Owasso community members have shown the past few months and are eagerly looking forward to what we can accomplish in the new year!🎉

We have had so much fun taking all your food scraps to our central compost bin! Thank you all so much for collecting and dropping off your scraps, and we are so excited to keep this up!
