Happy Birthday to Us!

On June 30, 2020, right in the early stages of the the COVID pandemic, Althea made the decision we were going out on our own.

And Aspyre Wellness was born!

It has been a great 5 years (tjough it sometime seems like a mere 5 minutes) and we are proud to say we’re going strong.

Thanks you to all who have believed in and supported us in these first 5 years of Aspyre’s journey, and especially those who trust us with their mental health care!

Thanks for everything!!!

Well, what can I do to help protect and preserve the environment?

Probably a lot more than you think!

Eco-Anxiety is anxiety stemming from and focused on environmental worries. The effects of changes to climate affecting weather, food production, sociopolitical stressors, and a reduced sense of individual and collective security. News cycles increasingly focus on what is wrong in our world, including environmental conditions, and can be very triggering.

We can help you address these and other stresses, gain perspective, and even feel an increased sense of power and control rather than helplessness and hopelessness.

Call today (630/527-8877), or visit our website (aspyrewellness.com) for easy online scheduling.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Sexual Assault comes in many forms, and affects people across age, gender, socioeconomic status, and where they live. Working with survivors of sexual violence is something almost all mental health professionals do everyday and we become acutely aware of how pervasive a problem this is.

Join us in being the change for survivors and, through awareness, part of the solution to help fight sexual assault.

April is Stress Awareness Month

Stress and anxiety are more than mere feelings, they are complex physiological responses to events, circumstances, triggers, and trauma with serious implications for our mental and physical well-being. Much of mental health professionals' work centers on helping our clients better manage stress to improve overall health outcomes, quality of life, and ability to manage their busy lives.

April 22nd is Earth Day 2025! Join us and the world as we celebrate a day dedicated to supporting environmental protection.

Eco-anxiety is a serious concern for much of the world, with damage to the ecology a significant stress on health, safety, and economies across the globe. Concern for the environment is concern for people, and alleviating damage to the environment an important health and human rights issue.

Being "brave enough to suck at something new" is actually an important component of self-care and maintaining an emotionally healthy mind and outlook.

For 2025, we've decided to suck at Pickleball! (and guess what... we're gradually sucking less and less every week)

So, get out there and really suck at something!
