Another round of active weather is anticipated for the area this afternoon and evening. Storms are expected to initially develop upstream and head into the area during the afternoon. Additional storms may develop over the area. The northern extent of strongest storms is still uncertain. The most likely hazards will be damaging winds and large hail.

Strong to severe storms are predicted to occur today, Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Be and monitor your local forecast and have multiple ways to receive severe weather alerts.
Multiple rounds of strong to severe storms will occur through this evening, then again on Thursday afternoon and evening. Storms this morning will mostly pose a damaging wind threat. All hazards of severe weather, including tornadoes, are possible this afternoon into this evening. The main hazards on Thursday will be large hail and damaging winds. Heavy rain is expected, which could lead to localized flooding. Be sure to monitor for forecast updates as details will change. Have multiple ways to receive warnings!

π’ Expect scattered showers and storms to re-develop this afternoon following a round of rain early this morning. A few storms may become strong or severe between around 2 and 9 PM, with 40 to 60 mph wind gusts and hail up to 1" being the main concerns. Minor damage to trees and powerlines will be possible with larger hail.
