Miss Rural Winnebago

Yesterday I got the chance to attend the Omro FFA Alumni Meat Raffle at the Farmstead Saloon! 🐄 At this event, I got to hand out meat raffle tickets and drink tickets to the person with the winning paddle. 😊 Once a person won, they got the chance to choose a meat item out of the freezer. 🥩 This event had such a great turnout and I had tons of fun handing out the tickets to people. 🎟️

Also, the Omro FFA is selling tickets for a chance to win a tractor or money. 🚜 The tickets are $20 and the drawing will be in September at the Farmstead Saloon. 🐮

Last night I attend the Omro School District Family Literacy Night! 📚 This year the theme was Click, Clack, Moo Cows that Read (farm theme). 🐮 At this event, I walked around because they had SO many different booths there. I mostly spent my time with the Omro FFA making butter in the technology room. 🧈 I also got a chance to make some crafts with Mrs. Morse’s Child Development class. 🐷 I had such an amazing time and would recommend to check this event out next year because it is pretty awesome! 😁

Tonight I got the chance to attend Bingo at the Omro Bowhunters Club! 🏹 This club is led by Omro’s Post 234.🇺🇸

At this event, I got to help sell the 50/50 raffle tickets. While I was helping sell tickets, I was able to talk to one of the members of the post about his experiences in the Air Force working on aircrafts! ✈️ I also had the chance to speak to the people playing bingo about my platform, veterans. 🎤 I had so much fun at this event and really hope that I can go another time! 🫶🏼

👩🏼‍🌾A person interested in attending local events to learn about and promote the “rural life” of Winnebago County.
🎀Females ages 13-17 years.
📍Resides in or attends school in Winnebago County, WI.
📝No agricultural background or related experiences are required.
🤝A person willing to volunteer a year of service as MRW.

This weekend was busy one! Last night I attended the Omro Holiday Christmas Parade! ☃️ It was cold and my hands were frozen, but other than that, I had a blast! ❄️ A special thank you to Winnebago County Veteran Services for donating some bottle openers, notebooks, and chapstick for me to hand out at last nights parade. 🇺🇸 Also, a big thank you to the Schmick-Freeman Agency so the yummy treats after the parade! 🍭

Today, I was the MC of the Waukau Christmas Party! 🎄 Jodie, MRW Coordinator, and I have been planning this party for about a month and today we had 38 kids show up! When the kids arrived they got the opportunity to do some fun crafts, eat lunch, and even meet Santa!! 🎅🏻 We also had the Winnebago County Fairest of the Fair, Macy, as well as Miss Oshkosh, Thea, and Miss Oshkosh’s Teen, Izzi, join us today! 👑

Last night I attended the Waukau Youth Center Souper Supper🥣 This event is open to the community, but especially for the Veterans who got to eat for free! 🇺🇸My job was to help collect tickets from the guests and serve them their soup. 🎟️This event was a great turnout and we sold out by the end of the night! 🌙

This weekend I attended two events! The first event I attended was Porktober which was run by the Winnebago County Farm Bureau. 🐷 At this event, I got to mark some rounds and also got to shoot a couple rounds. 🧡 I also got a pork sandwich that was super good. There was a great turnout and I had an amazing time. 😁

The second event I attended was the Omro Community Center Fashion Show. 👗 At this event, I got the chance to speak about some of the different outfits as the ladies walked around with the Winnebago County Fairest of the Fair, Macy Dodd! 👑 Along with that, we also got to draw some names for basket prizes. 🧺 This was another great event.

I attended two events today! The first event I attended was the seventh annual WaukauFest. At this event I got a chance to talk to the veterans and hand out some donations that I got from the Winnebago County Veterans Services Office. Thank you so much for the donations! My favorite part was definitely getting to talk to all the veterans! 🇺🇸🦅❤️🤍💙

The second event I attend was the annual Farm Bureau meeting at Fin n’ Feather in Winneconne. At this event, I spoke about what Miss Rural Winnebago is and the events that I have gone to so far in my reign. I had such an amazing day and can’t wait for the many more events to come! 👑🎤
