Since our dental office in Orlando, Florida opened its doors, we have strived to maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere for all those who enter. Dr. Puig earned her bachelors in biological science from the University of Central Florida and her doctorate in medical dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Upon earning her doctorate in Medical Dentistry she returned home to Orlando, Florida, beginning her dental career in private practice. In her 16 years of practice, Dr. Puig has proven herself as a leader in cosmetic and general dentistry and is continually striving to keep herself educated – constantly committed to providing quality dental care through every procedure. Dr. Puig continues to further her education and knowledge through training at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies and the Las Vegas Institute.
Milled Temporaries: The Upgrade to Same-Day Smiles
Instead of traditional same-day temporaries, we offer milled temporaries, precision crafted for a stunning, glossy, natural looking finish. If you want the smoothest, most aesthetic transition to your final restoration, this is the way to go.
What’s the difference?
Same-Day Temporaries are typically hand shaped and cured chairside using acrylic material. They’re fast and functional, but the surface tends to be less polished, with a flatter, more matte finish. Small imperfections are also more common since they’re made freehand.
Milled Temporaries are designed using digital scans and carved out of a solid block of high quality material by a milling machine. This process delivers incredibly precise fit, smooth contours, and a naturally glossy, tooth like shine, giving you a temporary that looks and feels closer to your final result.
The takeaway: if you care about aesthetics during your transition, not just function, milled temporaries offer a noticeably more polished, confident smile while you wait for your permanent restoration.

See that little dark triangle where the teeth meet the gums? It's called an interdental space, but most patients just call it a "black triangle." It's one of the most underrated agers of a smile.
As we age, the gum tissue and bone that support the papilla can gradually thin and recede. Triangular-shaped teeth, natural tooth wear, or mild bone changes over time can all widen that space, pulling the contact point higher and leaving a small shadowed gap behind.
It sounds minor, but it changes everything. It breaks up the smooth line of the gums, catches shadow instead of light, and reads as "older" even when your smile is perfectly healthy.
The fix for this smile was redesigning the veneers to extend the contact point closer to the gumline, closing the space naturally without bulky or fake looking teeth.

Small changes in a tooth tell you a lot, if you're paying attention.
This smile used to have one tooth that stood out with a different shade, while chipped edges on that tooth and the ones around it broke the flow. Enamel doesn't grow back, so even small, early signs of wear or chipping matter more than they seem. Our goal is always to protect as much natural tooth structure as possible. With porcelain veneers, we matched the color, restored the symmetry, and gave this smile a completely natural, uniform finish. Confidence, delivered. ✨

Ever notice a small gap between teeth right at the biting edge? That's called an embrasure space, and it's one of the most common concerns patients bring up. It's all about that negative space. Once it's closed, the smile looks more even, more polished, and just... finished. Small change, big difference
