The Orlando, FL local of Democratic Socialists of America, the largest socialist organization in the US. The philosophy and goals of the Democratic Socialists of America are simple: the power of labor and the power of electoral decision-making should be in the hands of the working people, not the privileged few. We are not a political party; rather, we are an organization that promotes activism, legislative reform, mutual aid, and political/economic/social justice education across the country.

Join Orlando DSA for our 2025 Local Convention on Saturday, January 25, from 12 to 5 PM at the Callahan Neighborhood Center Auditorium (101 N Paramore Ave #1723).
Masks are required for in-person attendees, and a virtual option is available via Zoom.
This event will kick off with a potluck social as we celebrate our wins, reflect on the past year, and shape the future of our chapter through member-led resolutions and Steering Committee elections.
Childcare and refreshments will be provided.
Your voice matters—in unity, there is strength.
We need as many comrades as possible to reach quorum and vote on new campaigns, rechartering working groups, amending bylaws, and electing our new Steering Committee.
The day will also include political education, reports from other Florida DSA chapters, and more.
After business concludes, we’ll head to a nearby bar or restaurant for an after-party social.

Orlando DSA demands the charges dropped for Briana Boston, unjustly arrested by after stating frustration over healthcare denial. We condemn this injustice & call for reparations against a system that profits off delaying, denying and deposing the right to healthcare!
