Disney World has been a wild ride lately and I’m not talking about the attractions 😱

Yesterday a guest at Steakhouse 71 allegedly threw three cups of water at Cast Members over seating arrangements, broke glasses, then snatched the manager’s name tag right off his shirt. Two counts of battery, banned from all Disney property. 😬

Earlier this year a guest was arrested at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for pushing a teenager in the queue during a line dispute.

And a couple weeks ago when nature called at Kilimanjaro Safaris, a dad jumped off the truck mid-ride to handle it in the bushes while his daughter yelled “Daddy hurry up, they’re waiting for you” 🦁

Lines, restaurants, the actual savanna…

Have you ever witnessed any unhinged guest behavior at the parks?

She really grew into the role 🌿

Disney trips are all about those small moments that turn into core memories.

The first time one of your kids freezes in front of character that just stepped off the movie screen.

That family photo you retake every year at your favorite spot. Same angle, different heights, but the smiles never change as you watch your family grow over the years. (Our spot is the Norway troll 😀).

Sharing the moment when Cosmic Rewind suddenly spins backwards before launch, or the sense of bewilderment when you exit out of the same door you entered to a room full of Stormtroopers.

You plan the rides and restaurants, but it’s these unforeseen small moments that you take home with you forever.

And to me, that’s what makes a Disney vacation so special. 💗

A Disney trip in 2026 is getting squeezed from every direction at once. 💰

Spirit shut down five days ago with hundreds of weekly flights out of Orlando while fuel costs are already pushing airfare up across the board.

At the parks, yesterday’s earnings report shows attendance is dropping while Disney keeps posting record revenue off higher spending per guest. This marks 3 of the last 4 quarters with same trend.

Free airport shuttles, free fast pass, free MagicBands…the perks that used to soften the bill keep disappearing.

I posted this same pattern a year ago, and it continues to accelerate.

The parks are less crowded and more expensive at the same time.
