How long have you been racing? Since I was 16 years old
How did you get into racing? My dad, Jack Collins, was involved in Pro Stock racing in the late 1970’s and it just evolved from there. What’s your favorite part about racing? I would without a doubt say it is having my family be a part of my racing adventures. Even though we may argue and disagree like the Teutuls off of Orange County Choppers there is nothing like having your family there through it all – My parents (Jack & Sherry Collins), Denise, Cole & the CEO of operations … Chance. And I definitely cant leave out the friends that i’ve made along they way that have become just like family to me. Tied for 5th Heading Into Indy 🔵⚪️🔵
With just four races remaining in the 2026 NHRA JBS Equipment Pro Mod Championship presented by Elite Motorsports, the pressure is building as only 89 points separate the Top 10 following the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals.
Derek Menholt still leads the standings, but Mike Stavrinos, Billy Banaka, and the rest of the championship contenders remain well within striking distance.
The biggest statement of the weekend came from Kevin Rivenbark and Team Shelton Motorsports. Their Norwalk victory propelled them from 14th to 9th in the standings—a five-position jump that puts them in the title hunt at exactly the right time.
Next stop: The BIG GO, Indy; where the Road to the Championship continues.
