Speakeasy, Swanky Club, Great Gatsby Inspired Garden

Now that the first Orlando Fashion Week has come to a close, AKV Events was proud to be one of the many prestigious sponsors for this event! The perfect mix of Glitz and Glamour, this event was the social fashion event of the year for Central Florida! Hosted at The Abbey venue in downtown Orlando, students and seasoned designers showcased their new Fall 2012 fashions in a stylish paneled deco-art stage setting illuminated in white, silvers, and blue hues. Beautiful fashion inspired shoe floral pieces accented with diamond and crystal embellishments were the spotlight for the VIP section. These one of a kind pieces were dressed up with shades of white calla lilies, hydrangeas, lisianthus, and dendrobiums with pops of blue delphinium and thistle. Adding more intensity to these arrangements crystal pieces and silver wire were added to bring out the simplistic beauty of the flowers. AKV Events would once again like to thank TNT Productions for putting on this exquisite event and allowing us to be a part of it!

Here at AKV Events we are springing forward into festive spring inspired center pieces! Our first pop of color was created for the Women’s Medical Association Garden inspired Breakfast at the Ritz Carlton in beautiful Orlando, Florida. Stunning shades of pink, yellow, and orange Alstroemerias were accompanied by tulips, lilies, and garden roses arranged in multiple levels of crystal glasses for a carefree and whimsical look. Vases were arranged to show off each unique flower with various water beads placed in bottom of each to bring out the eye popping shades of spring!

Spring forward your wedding designs with some beautifully unique aisle décor ideas! Tradition with a twist is all the rage this season! Instead of lining your walkway with classic white runners, think outside the aisle, try creating an elegant path to the alter with a mix of full flower buds and petals, scattered sparsely or in a decorative design, this pathway is sure to be creative and beautiful. If you really want to make a statement this season, pair a classic simple runner with exciting accent pieces, we recommend these eye popping umbrellas or colorful illuminated candles to show off some personality on your special day!

Over the weekend AKV Events put together an amazing western- chic event at the Lake Nona Country Club. The venue was transformed into a beautifully rustic themed ambiance, illuminated in candlelight and accented with ruby roses. Tables were dressed with stylish latte linens, rural cow hides, and antique embellished steer heads. Guests were entertained with a multitude of exciting activities including, a live country band, casino games, a cigar roller, mechanical bull riding, and an exquisite fireworks show, all the while munching on grilled lobster tails, 2lb steaks and sipping refreshing spiked lemonades and iced teas.

Getting ready for your Valentine’s Day social events?? Instead of red or silver drape, heart shaped accent pieces and traditional roses, think outside of the box for your 2012 gatherings! Add a pop to your party with dark shades of magenta, fuchsia, and vintage ivory matched with up lighting for a perfect romantic setting. Dark purple Calla Lilies and rich burgundy tulips are a unique accent for your February 14th festivities!
