Heading out this week to support a fast-paced, high-impact conference in San Francisco—and I couldn’t be more excited.

I’ll be onsite alongside an incredible mix of peers, longtime colleagues, and clients I’ve had the privilege of working with over the years. There’s something special about stepping into an environment where collaboration is seamless, the pace is high, and everyone is focused on delivering something truly meaningful.

While I can’t share details, I can say this: the program I’m supporting is pushing boundaries in all the right ways—and it’s an honor to contribute behind the scenes.

Grateful for the continued trust, the familiar faces, and the new energy this next chapter brings.

As I head home from MPI WEC 2026, I'm feeling incredibly grateful for an inspiring and energizing week in San Antonio.

A heartfelt thank you to MPI for delivering another exceptional World Education Congress experience. From the thought-provoking education sessions and memorable keynote speakers to the countless opportunities for networking and connection, every aspect of the event reinforced the value of investing in our professional community.

One of the things I love most about this industry is the willingness to share ideas, challenge perspectives, and support one another's growth. This week provided all of that and more.

I leave with new insights, fresh inspiration, meaningful connections, and excitement for what's ahead.

To everyone I had the opportunity to meet, reconnect with, learn from, and laugh with—thank you for making this experience so memorable.

After a little time away from this page, it feels like the perfect moment to reintroduce myself.

Many of you know me from my years owning and operating a wedding and event design business. For more than 15 years, I had the privilege of helping couples celebrate some of life's most important moments while building a business that taught me invaluable lessons in creativity, client service, logistics, and ex*****on.

What many may not know is that throughout that journey, I was also building a 20+ year career in corporate events, experiential marketing, conferences, executive programs, incentive travel, and strategic event planning. Those experiences—combined with the relationships, skills, and perspective gained as a business owner—have shaped the event professional I am today.

This week, I attended World Education Congress, and it couldn't have come at a better time. Being surrounded by industry peers, learning from thought leaders, discovering new ideas, and reconnecting with colleagues reminded me exactly why I love this industry. I left energized, inspired, and excited for what's next.
So, what's next?

I'm officially launching my freelance event consulting practice and am available for contract and freelance opportunities in event strategy, planning, production, onsite ex*****on, consultation, team support, and special projects.

Whether you need an experienced event leader to guide a program from concept to completion, provide strategic counsel, or jump in as an extension of your team, I'd love to connect.

As I begin this next chapter, I'm excited to explore new opportunities, collaborate with amazing people, and continue doing what I love—creating meaningful experiences that bring people together.
