What’s one thing you forgot during a move that you’ll NEVER forget again?

Heads up for Florida pet owners and animal lovers 🐾

New laws passed in Florida are set to strengthen protections for pets and animals across the state.

The legislation includes:
🐶 Increased penalties for certain animal cruelty offenses
🐱 New standards and oversight for dog breeders and pet dealers
🐶More transparency surrounding pet sales and financing agreements
🐱 The creation of a statewide public database for individuals convicted of animal cruelty offenses

Some of these changes will begin rolling out on July 1 and October 1, with the animal cruelty database expected to launch in January 2027.

The goal behind these updates is to improve animal welfare, encourage responsible pet practices, and help consumers make more informed decisions when purchasing pets.
