✨ Participant Spotlight: Meet Ebonei! ✨

She was a DiscoverABILITY participant who is now employed through the WE BUILD program at ORMC. She works in food and nutrition doing food prep and assisting in the dish room as needed. She has grown greatly during her time working and her brother has reported that not only has she learned to utilize the train to get to and from work, but she has matured and shown to be more responsible at home! Amazing work, Ebonei! 💙

Participant Spotlight: Meet Vincent! 🌟

He is working as a Lot Associate at Home Depot. He retrieves carts from the parking lot and helps customers load merchandise into their cars. His supervisors say that he is friendly and a very hard worker! Keep up the great work, Vincent! 💙🎉

Meet Ashley, she is a former DiscoverABILITY participants from last year. Her Employment Specialist, Tina, saw her last recently and was thrilled to learn that she was recognized as Team Member of the Week at Epic Universe, where she works at Blue Dragon.

This was Ashley's very first job, and she is still proudly employed there. Her chef shared that she consistently works hard, helps her coworkers, and brings a positive attitude every day, which is exactly why she earned this recognition. It was especially special to celebrate this moment with her.

Our first annual ASL Night with the Solar Bears was a success! 🏒 It was a great night dedicated to celebrating Deaf culture and community!

The event featuring interpreters throughout the arena and an ASL performance of the National Anthem.
