You’ve seen the work. Now meet one of the guys behind it. 👋🏻

Kyle is our lead tech and installer for over 5 years- if you’ve had SIS on your property, there’s a good chance his hands built or repaired what you’re looking at right now. 😎😉

He’s reliable in a way that’s hard to find. Always shows up, stays focused, and has a calm leadership that helps keeping the job running smoothly. The attention to detail he brings is the reason we can stand behind every project we complete.

When he’s not on a job site, he’s fishing, spending time outdoors, or with his family and dog, living that real Central Florida life. 🌴🎣

Proud to have Kyle on our team!

That moment when the crew leaves and you think, “Let me just spray some water up there to make sure everything is sealed…” 😭

DON’T DO IT ON A FRESHLY FINISHED ROOF.

Fresh caulking and sealant need time to set, adhere, and cure properly. Introducing water too soon can interfere with the curing process or compromise a seal before it has developed its intended strength.

⏱️ General timeline:

0–2 hours: Many sealants are still in the initial set/tack stage.

~24 hours: Some roofing sealants reach a significant stage of cure around this point.

24–48+ hours: Many products continue curing substantially during this window.

But here’s the important part: there is no universal cure time. Some products can take considerably longer to reach their final properties depending on the product and conditions.

The safest rule: Don’t test a freshly completed roof with a hose. Let it cure properly before intentionally spraying or testing the area.

So when the crew says, “Let it cure before you test it,” they’re not being difficult; they’re protecting the work and your investment. 😉
