Sometimes i think about how it would
feel to be wanted by… well, by anyone really.

i’d really like to be noticed by a stranger on the train, taken in slowly and savored, while they think about how blessed they are to have my face to stare at for the next three stops.

i want to be studied and dissected and put back together by them. and then i’d quite like for them to remember my freckles, for the next week or so after we’ve crossed paths (even if it was just momentarily).

i’d do anything to be the girl someone fantasizes about, the girl they’re too nervous to take their eyes off, because they’re not sure when they’ll next have the chance to stare at me again. i want to be someone’s love interest and the main character in someone else’s story for a change.

and oh god, i have this voice inside of me that is screaming impatiently for importance! perhaps this is a result of my parents failed marriage, but to me, importance can only ever be romance.

i need to be something to someone, to have something to say and to have someone to listen. i want to be heard and applauded and i just really fu***ng want to mean something. i want exist beyond just superficial desire of bodies and mouths, more than thighs and breasts and the small of my back.

what i want is real.
ungodly.
ugly.
unfiltered.
wrong.
painful.
angry.
frustrating.
terrifying.
love.

i need to be loved.
