We’re excited to welcome Susan Smith to the Infinity Percussion Summer Clinic for a special “Leadership 101” master class!

Susan Smith is a nationally recognized music educator, clinician, conductor, and educational leader with decades of experience teaching at every level of music education. She currently serves as President & CEO of RWS Music Company and has presented clinics across the country for organizations including Music for All, NAfME, FMEA, TMEA, and more.

This session is designed for performers, educators, section leaders, and anyone looking to grow their confidence and leadership skills within the marching arts community.

Girls March is an educational organization dedicated to empowering women in the marching arts through mentorship, education, leadership development, and representation in percussion. Founded by Raychel Taylor, the program was created to help address the lack of visibility and opportunities for women within marching percussion education and leadership.

Their impact throughout the marching arts community has helped inspire performers and educators while creating supportive and inclusive learning environments for the next generation of musicians.

A nationally recognized percussion educator, clinician, and touring musician, Tom Hurst has spent decades performing and recording with artists including The Backstreet Boys, Tracy Lawrence, Sister Hazel, Wang Chung, Joe Nichols, and many others. In addition to his extensive performing career, Tom has taught at every level of music education and serves as a co-founder of Infinity Percussion.
