And that’s a wrap! I had the pleasure and privilege of being asked to manage one of our rookie All-Star Teams to cap off the season in the rookie All-Star exhibition game. Got one last game and one last “W” in! This was such a cool experience being able to coach my son along with players who belonged to other teams this season! These kids were truly All-Stars! Over just three days we built a team that had it in them to hold a lead and finish the game with a triple play!! 7-8 year olds!?! If I had to have a last game to coach this was it! Wow! Very proud of my THUNDERBOLTS!! ⚡️ They brought the storm! God is so good!

A beautiful and calm Mother’s Day. God, thank You for our mother’s. The arks of our existence, You made them. No words can be enough for this great miracle of life and creation.

This, by far, has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.

Last Saturday was another W for my Cubbies! It was a tough one with an extra inning but these Cubs pulled through! Most exciting and definitely the loudest game of the season. Go Cubs! Go!

Second win of the season! 18-6 Cubs victory! Fly that “W”!!! They are working hard! But even better than that: Spending time with my No. 2! 💪🏼💯❤️ He’s playing so well. ⚾️🙏🏼

First “W” of Spring!! This new team is already working hard and I know they have a memorable season ahead of them!

St. Patrick’s Day is one of our favorite feast days. Our tradition is Corned Beef & Cabbage in the slow cooker. One of my favorite prayers is St. Patrick’s Breastplate. As a Christian I have vowed to try my best to see Christ all around me in creation and in everyone I encounter. This prayer helps me, and it also reminds me when I fall short. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Friday, for Catholics, is a day of fasting and penance so it’s always an interesting feel when it’s the day after Christmas and you’re still running high with joy and all the family together! So this meal was a delicious simple family meal for 11 people. Salmon, fettuccine, asparagus- all on the — GRATEFUL 👍🏼🙏🏼 MERRY CHRISTMAS! ✝️💯💪🏼
