First stop: Tokyo. A few days in and I'm already not ready to leave.

It started with a 14 hour flight in business class, a Starbucks the second we landed, and a paper map I refused to put down. We rode the Yamanote Line straight through the heart of the city, watched the chaos of Shibuya Crossing from above, and stood at the gates of the Imperial Palace feeling very small in the best possible way. Ended the day with some of the most incredible cuisine I have ever tasted.

This is what happens when you actually go. I know because I go and there is so much more Tokyo to come.
