A little backstory, Disney’s Riviera Resort is where we bought into as DVC members in 2022. We were looking for signs on if we should join or not and on our walk through of the room I caught the Aristocat painting (videoed here) my favorite disney movie EVER, and such a rare one, and my mind was immediately made up.

Since our points go so much further at other resorts, we’ve always chosen those over a Deluxe stay. But for this trip, we decided to use two years’ worth of points and finally experience a resort that keeps you incredibly close to the parks, with the convenience of hopping on the Skyliner and getting to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios so quickly.

I fear I’ve shot myself in the foot because I completely understand the hype of a deluxe resort. The level of detail, the quieter more elevated feel, the dining, the convenience, and the fact that the resort itself actually feels like part of the vacation instead of just a place to sleep, it really is a different experience. I know we’ll absolutely stay at other resorts again because value matters, but if a Deluxe stay fits your budget for a special trip, I can honestly say I get why so many people swear by them now ✨🥐☕️

Even if they don’t have much hair these stylist will still find a way to get you a keepsake lock of hair. 10/10 experience you can not beat in Disney (I’m full of them, just stay tuned) 👏🏼⭐️✨
