Mitchell FCCLA takes on SD Fall Leadership! See you soon Huron!

Members of Mitchell FCCLA chapter participated in Teens as Teachers training. They will be presenting lessons on Character or Healthy Youth in elementary classroom. The South Dakota Youth Foundation awards scholarships to those who compete the requirements.

Mitchell FCCLA proudly represented South Dakota at the 2025 FCCLA National Leadership Conference. Lyla Morrison and Norah Kroetch earned Gold in Event Management, Level 1, and placed 3rd in the nation. Teresa Schroeder received Gold in FCCLA Chapter Website, Level 3, finishing 4th in the nation. Emily Gelderman received Gold in RED Talks for Education and placed 5th in the nation. Megyn Estrada earned Gold in Teach or Train, Level 3, also placing 5th in the nation. Rylee Heinrich received Gold in Repurpose and Redesign, Level 1. Jordyn Wilson and Alexis Daley earned Silver in Chapter in Review Display, Level 3. Mitchell FCCLA is especially proud of Jordan Platt who was named a Top 20 National Officer Candidate. Congratulations to all our competitors for their dedication and for representing Mitchell with excellence on the national stage.
