A lot of problems in life are solved by waking up early and working out.
This has very little to do with the workout itself...
When you wake up early and work out, you break any negative identity cycle that you may have been suffering from.
If you can get out of bed early and move, you’ve got something in you.
It’s one simple act that immediately makes you self-identify as a winner.
The ripple effects are profound:
• Eat better because you identify as a healthy person.
• Sleep better because your body is tired.
• Focus better from better sleep.
• Feel better from the endorphins.
If you want to change your life, wake up early and move.
Needing a morning routine layout? Comment “wake up early” in the comments and I’ll dm you my routine I’ve kept for almost 15 years.
I didn’t ruin your reputation; your actions did.
I recently saw Samantha Parker post this quote from Miley Cyrus and it just spoke so much truth to my soul.
People often share this quote to emphasize that being honest about your own experiences and holding others accountable for their behavior isn’t the same as cruelly attacking them. You are simply sharing the truth, and how that truth affects someone’s image is a direct result of their own actions, not your words.
In the past 18 months I’ve been betrayed and backstabbed by a handful of people. Several of them couldn’t control their emotions enough so they had to block me across all platforms.
My crime? Trying to help them. Seriously. Bending over backwards to serve and help. Several of them got mad because I was out growing them. They didn’t like it. So they started smear campaigns against me in hopes it would destroy a false image they created and spread.
I’m such a big believer in setting boundaries and holding people accountable for THEIR actions.
“I didn’t speak badly about you—I spoke about what you did to me. If that makes you look bad, that’s not my problem anymore.” — Miley Cyrus

Before you close your eyes tonight, release it, forgive it, thank God for it and rest knowing He’s still working while you sleep.
Isn’t that comforting?
Being able to relax and peacefully sleep while knowing that God is still working on your behalf.
Psalm 3:5: “I lie down and sleep, and I wake up safe, because the Lord protects me.”
So, breathe. Relax.
Start decompressing at night before you rest your head on that pillow. I’ll usually take a warm shower, read a paper copy book and then get on my knees and express my gratitude for the day. I can’t tell you how much this has helped me regulate my emotions over the years. It always helps me manage my stress because of the system I’ve implemented.
“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.” - Psalms 4:8
If you struggle with anxiety before bed, I encourage you to memorize this verse and pray it in faith every night. When we focus our thoughts on Jesus, He brings us peace and safety.
One of the most surprising things Roger Federer ever shared is that despite winning almost 80% of his matches throughout his career… he only won 54% of the points he played.
Think about that for a second.
One of the greatest athletes of all time barely won more than half the points in his matches. Which means even at the highest level, losing is constantly part of the experience. Missed shots, mistakes, momentum swings, points slipping away… all of it is normal.
And that changes the way you look at performance.
Because most people attach too much meaning to individual moments. One bad call, one mistake, one failed attempt, and suddenly they spiral. They carry that point into the next point, and then the next one after that. But Federer explained that over time, you learn something incredibly important… every point matters completely while you’re in it, and then once it’s over, you let it go.
That’s the mindset.
Not because the moment didn’t matter, but because staying emotionally attached to it hurts your ability to fully show up for what’s next. Whether it was an incredible shot or a terrible mistake, once it’s behind you, it’s behind you.
And honestly, that applies to so much more than tennis.
Business, sales, relationships, life… most people don’t lose because of one bad moment. They lose because they never mentally recover from it. They stay stuck replaying the last point instead of recommitting to the next one with clarity and focus.
That ability to reset is what separates people over the long run.
Because perfection was never the goal.
Presence is.

One of the most valuable things in life is discovering who believed in you before there was anything impressive to believe in.
Before the results. Before the recognition. Before things started working out.
The people who encouraged you when all you had was an idea, a dream, or a plan scribbled on a piece of paper often become impossible to forget. Not because they were right about what would happen, but because they saw something in you when there was no proof yet.
Success has a way of revealing who supported the outcome.
Time reveals who supported the person.
Who’s somebody that has supported you from day 1?
Tag them below.
I’ve made mistakes that almost cost me everything in sales, in life, in leadership. But this clip hit me hard, because it’s a perfect reminder: what separates average from elite isn’t perfection. It’s how you respond when things go wrong.
This player missed the catch. It should’ve been a touchdown the other way. But instead of hanging his head or giving up, he sprinted after the guy and stopped their touchdown. That’s wild.
That’s not just effort that’s identity. That’s deciding who you are even when you mess up. That’s what it looks like to own the next moment, even when the last one didn’t go your way.
And it made me ask myself: what would change if I showed up like that every day? What if I gave that level of effort, no matter what happened yesterday?

There’s a different kind of energy that comes when you’re excited about what you’re building.
You don’t dread mornings or hit snooze a dozen times. You wake up with clarity, drive, and a sense that what you do matters.
Purpose gives your days direction and your challenges meaning.
It pulls you forward when motivation fades and pushes you to keep growing, even when things get tough. You stop living for weekends or vacations and start living for progress, impact, and fulfillment.
That’s the secret high-performers share: they’re fueled by vision, not by routine. The routine is a given.
When you know your “why,” even the hardest days become worth it.
Create a life that excites you-and you’ll never need an alarm.

My friend, when you lay down tonight, just remember you handled today.
Maybe it wasn’t perfect, maybe it was messy, but you showed up. Big changes don’t happen all at once. One day, one step, one choice at a time, that’s how you win.
Be proud of yourself.
Entrepreneurship is hard. It’s not for everybody. Sometimes we’re too hard on ourselves for “what didn’t get done today.” I’ve definitely fallen into that trip over the last 15 years as an entrepreneur. But in all reality, we all probably did more than we think. That’s why it’s important to have a nightly routine and include a gratitude journal as part of that.
Don’t beat yourself up too much.

Champions aren’t built on hype. They’re built on repetition.
I heard this line from Kenny Smith recently and I haven’t stopped thinking about it: “Champions do daily what everybody else does occasionally.” It hit me hard.
Because this is what separates good from great. Not one massive effort. Not one game-changing moment. Just ordinary habits done with extraordinary consistency. Over and over again.
When I look at the best agents, the best leaders, the best people I coach… it’s not always talent that sets them apart. It’s their ability to show up, even when it’s boring. Especially when it’s boring. They knock doors when it rains. They practice scripts when no one’s watching. They follow up when it’s easier to quit.
It reminded me of my early days. Driving to neighborhoods with nothing but a printout and a pitch. No fancy CRM. No leads waiting. Just faith and repetition. And I’ll be honest most of it wasn’t sexy. Most of it didn’t “feel good.” But it stacked. Day by day, it stacked. And that’s what builds real success.
So if you’re in a season where it feels slow, where the momentum isn’t obvious — don’t stop. That’s the work that’s molding you. That’s the repetition that’s sharpening the edge.
Champions aren’t louder. They’re just more consistent.
