"Love mochi. Live one box at a time"

This store in Imabari, Japan had this phrase as their slogan. At first I thought it was weird, but then I thought about how much mochi means to Japanese culture.

It's yummy. It's fun to eat. It symbolizes good fortune, well-being, and a long life. How cool is that!?

I think it's about time I get more active on this account. I originally created it to be a showcase of my work, but I want to move a different direction.

"Life captured by design" has been my little phrase. To me, it means giving every moment meaning. Taking life one thing at a time.

Our dreams and goals don't just "happen". But living life "one box at a time" and putting in the necessary work will make it so.
