This deck is built to perform, not just to look finished.
The waterproof layer is installed beneath the surface. This protects the structure while the top layer handles daily wear and weather.
The layout allows proper drainage and avoids water buildup. This is essential in snow conditions where moisture can sit and cause damage.
What you do not see is what determines how long it lasts.

Good design is about smart, simple choices
Matte frame TVs sit flush and cut glare. The wall looks clean and intentional.
Built ins add storage and lighting without clutter. They make the space easier to use every day.
Everything has a purpose, and it shows.
Making it happen.
Waterproofing isn’t a step—it’s a system that either works together or fails together.
Outlets and penetrations are common failure points. Sealing them properly to the weather barrier prevents water intrusion where it typically starts.
Continuous detailing matters. Tie-ins from brick ledge to windows, combined with correct flashing, ensure water is directed out—not trapped inside the wall.
Done right, these small details protect the entire structure long-term.
Most decks fail early because the material isn’t built for real conditions.
Stone decking with a lifetime warranty is designed to handle extreme climates—heat, cold, and constant temperature swings.
Durability matters daily. Scratch resistance and heat tolerance are what keep a deck performing over time, not just how it looks on day one.
Choose materials based on long-term performance, not short-term appearance.
Layout comes before installation. Precision here prevents problems later.
Marking every cabinet position early ensures plumbing, electrical, and lighting align exactly where they should. No guesswork once installation starts.
This step confirms spacing, filler sizes, and centering so the final kitchen looks balanced and fits as planned.
Careful layout is what turns a good design into a clean, seamless build.
Small cabinet adjustments make a big difference in how the entire kitchen aligns.
Reducing the drawer bank from 27" to 24" ensures the cabinetry sits flush with the wall. This prevents overhang and keeps transitions clean.
Proper sizing allows the crown molding to return seamlessly into the wall, avoiding awkward protrusions and improving the finished look.
Progress is steady on the exterior.
Scaffolding is up and the house wrap is on, so the structure is protected. We are cutting and removing the existing concrete to make room for the new garage.
There will be several new pours tied into this phase. Clearing it out now sets us up for clean work and a much better final result.
Prep work is what makes the finish look right.
This space is starting to come together.
Cabinetry is going in along the wall, with a built in shoe cubby and bench in the bay. Floors are installed, vanity is set, and we have finalized the backsplash and countertop details.
We also completed the shower flood test. The pan was filled and held water for two weeks with no leaks. That confirms the waterproofing is solid before tile goes in.
Tile from Arizona Tile is on the way. The foundation work is done right, so the finish can follow with confidence.
