Meet MVHS Boys basketball Head Coach Whitehead
——
Gordon Whitehead has coached young athletes for most of his life. He is the head coach for MVHS Bruins boys basketball. He was assistant coach and head sophomore coach at AFHS for two years. The Sophomore record was 21-0. Before that, he was the head coach at AHHS for two years. He has been the head varsity basketball 🏀 coach for a girls program in Oregon, an assistant varsity baseball ⚾️ coach, and the offensive coordinator for championship varsity football team 🏈

Professionally, Gordon specializes in leadership and organizational development with a focus on helping emerging leaders accelerate their leadership growth. His career includes 13 years in the US Marine Corps where he served both as an enlisted Marine and as an officer. He left the Marines as Captain to join the NIKE team. His degrees include B.A., MBA, and D.Mgt. Gordon is the founder of Leaders24/7 and is married to Diane Whitehead. They have eight children and sixteen Grandchildren. Gordon loves being part of the Bruins Family!

*LeaderHoops Club 🏀 is dedicated to helping young players develop their hoop capabilities. We focus on fundamentals, skill development, competition, and leadership.
*Located in Orem, UT. Our youth program is for 2nd-8th graders.
*August tryouts are to assess players who are interested in either Fall or Winter ball.
