Wrapped up the work on the '70 Boss 302 and a '70 Mach 1 rolled in to take its spot. Another beauty....

Happy birthday to the legendary Burt Munro!

Herbert James 'Burt' Munro was born in Edendale, a town near Invercargill on 25 March 1899.

He spent years modifying a 1920 Indian motorcycle before setting his first New Zealand speed record (120.8mph - 194.4km) in 1940. During 10 visits to Bonneville he set three world speed records!

So why not ride a highway, byway or back road on this special day to celebrate the God of Speed - the one and only Burt Munro 🏍

Giving a crusty old British SU carb new life... all internal casting flash removed, bore polished, gasket matched ports, bowl smoothed, converted the waxstat jet, replaced needle and seat, sonic cleaned, polished and ready to go!

It's business as unusual...
The shop will remain open as long as possible with a few changes geared towards public safety.
The waiting room is temporarily closed to customers. (I'm sorry... I know how much everyone loves watching Maury or Telemundo here. ) I'm encouraging anyone who needs service to use the drop off system. Drop your car off at your convenience and leave the key in the drop slot. Once the work is complete I'll notify you and send an electronic invoice. Options for payment include credit card through our secure online payment system, cash or check. Receipts will be sent electronically. Prior to and following any service your car will be thoroughly disinfected.
For anyone stuck at home with wild children or nervous about venturing out I'll be offering a pick up and drop off service if scheduled in advance. Your car will be picked up at your home or office and promptly returned once the work is complete.

A 2018 Jeep Wrangler rolled in for a makeover.... Rock Krawler 3.5" flex system lift, shocks, Fuel Assault wheels, and 35" Toyo M/T tires. All it needs now is MUD.... 👍👍

New transmission, new 12 bolt rear end and complete 4 wheel power disc brake conversion... she's ready👍 Sad to see her leave.....
