Oregon Fire and Rescue Station 1

Founded in 1936 and officially formed in 1937 as the Oregon Township Fire Department. Today it is known as the Oregon Fire and Rescue Department.

Oregon Fire and Rescue operates out of 3 fire stations that are strategically located throughout the city to provide prompt fire and emergency medical response. Lucas County EMS' Life Squad 8 is housed at fire station #1 and it is one of 10 Life Squads that provide ALS care to the citizens of Lucas County. 10 full time members staff the Life Squad to provide 24/7 coverage for Life Squad 8. 90 memb  ...
