πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ FLAG DAY β€” JUNE 14, 2026 πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Today, the Oregon Police Division proudly joins our community and our nation in celebrating Flag Day as we honor the Stars and Stripes β€” a symbol of freedom, unity, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of America.

On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the official flag of the United States and for nearly 250 years, our flag has represented the courage of those who have defended our nation and the values that bring us together as Americans.

As you see Old Glory flying throughout our city today, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy and the service and sacrifices made by generations of military members, first responders, and citizens who have helped preserve them.

From all of us at the Oregon Police Division, we wish you a safe and meaningful Flag Day. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

πŸ©πŸš“ WE TAKE THIS DAY VERY SERIOUSLY… πŸš“πŸ©

Friday, June 5, 2026 is National Donut Day, and yes… we will be conducting official inspections across the city.

Our officers are working hard to ensure:
βœ”οΈ Sprinkles are evenly distributed
βœ”οΈ Cream filling meets quality standards
βœ”οΈ Glaze coverage is… thorough

If you see us out and about, don’t be alarmed β€” it’s all part of our donut enforcement duties.

In all seriousness, take some time to support one of our local bakeries and enjoy a well-earned treat. Just remember… sharing with your officers is always appreciated. πŸ˜‰

Stay safe, have fun, and enjoy the sweetest day of the year! 🍩
