What an incredible day for the DMR Electric team.

Our crew began a planned facility power outage at 4:00 AM to complete a full service relocation, including the installation and cutover of a new 2,000-amp, 120/208V three-phase electrical service, a new 750 kVA pad-mounted transformer, secondary cabinet, and six 400-foot pulls of quad 750 MCM conductors.

This project came with critical conditions and a strict 12-hour deadline—no exceptions. Every phase of the work had to be carefully coordinated, including same-day inspections, to ensure power could be safely restored to the facility on schedule.

After countless days of planning, scheduling, and staging, our crew executed the shutdown flawlessly. Thanks to the dedication, teamwork, and professionalism of everyone involved, we completed the project safely, passed inspection, restored power, and still finished with time to spare.

At 4:00 AM this morning, our team responded to an emergency call from a homeowner experiencing intermittent power outages.

After troubleshooting the issue, we determined the problem was a damaged underground electrical service wire. Our crew quickly located the fault, safely excavated the damaged section, and completed a temporary repair to restore power and keep the home running during today’s extreme heat.
