We heard 2026 is the new 2016.

Back in 2016, .events Managing Partner Justine celebrated a few firsts: her first magazine feature with , her first event booked as Together Events, and some original DIY zero-waste business cards (made with gel pens, of course).

Trends change, but our values never have. In 2026, we’re still curating creative, personalized, and intentional celebrations that are socially conscious, sustainability-minded, and community-centered.

If rain on your wedding day is good luck, Kevin and Sean are set for a lifetime!

When weather moved their ceremony indoors, a quick pivot by the florist, sound team, venue crew, and our team transformed the reception space into a warm, candlelit ceremony, placing Kevin and Sean right in the center of their community.

The clouds parted just in time for cocktail hour, giving family and friends skyline views and a chance to celebrate outdoors. Community was at the heart of every moment: family-style dinner by Marlow Events, group speeches, long farmhouse tables with the couple seated among their guests, and a wedding morning spent together, welcoming loved ones with a pre-wedding brunch. Kevin and Sean spent their day the same way they’ll spend their marriage: surrounded by love.

And because it wouldn’t be a true NYC love story without a few local nods, the night ended sweetly with banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery and scoops from Van Leeuwen. Thank you, Kevin and Sean, for trusting us with your day and welcoming us into your community.

Starling & Wee Heavy’s October wedding was a joyful, affirming, q***r celebration through and through. From the custom attire to the color palette inspired by the genderq***r flag, every detail was a reflection of their identities and love story.

Surrounded by community and candlelight at the Abernethy Center, they said their vows under a floral chuppah and closed out the night dancing under a sea of bubbles to “Rebel Rebel” by David Bowie.

It was our honor to help bring their vision to life—from a genderq***r flag photo booth to a weekend full of intentional touches (including not one, but two cakes, and a groom’s cake featuring their beloved pups 🐾).

We’re blowing off the Monday Blues thanks to this sneak peek drop from for Nick + Eva’s wedding at the Rainbow Room!

Every part of this process was filled with love and compassion. We met this couple because of a referral from a vendor friend who was a guest at the event. We worked with this compassionate and creative couple through their planning process and watched them navigate a lot going on in their personal and professional lives throughout. Our team had changes - bereavements, COVID, maternity leaves - but our teaming structure meant N+E were never without a core support from Together Events. AND we got to work with some of the best vendors in the biz at one of NYC’s most iconic venues!

Everything about this celebration was a gift - and we feel so lucky to have played our part in helping these two party in style.

Today we want to wish Yoon-Ji and Brian a very happy 1 year anniversary!

These two kind and joyful celebrants came to Together Events with a sense of why they wanted for their day, but a great deal of overwhelm in how to make it all happen. They had their venue (Rule of Thirds) but they wanted to build a slate of Asian vendors to imbue cultural connection into their day. While managing two busy jobs, and the process of looking for their together-home, they needed extra support to help balance practicality against their vision for a romantic and dance-fueled celebration.

These two worked with for over six months leading up to their wedding - together we built a design plan, day of event timeline plan, and put into place an incredibly capable and caring all-Asian vendor team to bring their day to life. The result was a gorgeous, candlelit celebration with incredible food, exceptional dance floor vibes, and deep connection for all in attendance.

Happy Anniversary to Katherine + Hunter! Maryam worked with these two kind and caring souls to support the planning, design, and coordination of their wedding one year ago.

We started at the very beginning and used our Intentional Planning Guidebook to help clarify the key priorities and vibe we wanted to set for guests - one rooted in their love of hosting spaces where people feel comfortable and delighted by thoughtfulness; one where their favorite foods were served; one where guests of all ages packed the dance floor; and one where their community was meaningfully incorporated into the experience.

The result was a joyful, warm, inviting and cheeky celebration of love at . Maryam worked with H+K to set a design plan and translate some of their favorite home art into the paper goods used at the event. A few details included paper goods inspired by a custom piece of art in their shared home; donuts from (the couples’ fave); gorgeous florals from the team; cocktail hour magic by ; and a limited edition run of “one night only” H designed for friends and family to take home.

A day made even more meaningful (to us) by the fact that these two were referred to us by two of Maryam’s previous clients.

There really is a special kind of magic when we’re able to bring our community together in celebration - and we’re so lucky we get to be on that journey with you.

As we’re heading into the fall 2023 wedding season, we wanted to share some of our favorite 2022 weddings as our clients celebrate their first anniversaries 💕

Yoon-Ji and Brian came to Together Events for partial planning. They had their venue (Rule of Thirds) but they wanted to build a slate of Asian vendors to imbue cultural connection into their day.
