I would like to send my doppleganger to this class. Lordie, I would love to know how to cut a proper edge, align, use a level... I missed this opportunity. I wish I had taken a few of the shop classes back in the day!
I am so excited to announce the return of Women's Carpentry Classes on the farm. I had been teaching these classes for several years, and took a break to go back to classroom teaching, and then work as a carpenter in the community. My classes are designed to empower women to build, starting from the very basics of understanding and using carpentry tools, and using that knowledge to build a small project. I plan on teaching a Women's Tiny Home Workshop next spring as well. So excited to have the opportunity to host these classes again!!!

I am looking forward to attending one of the workshops - sound bathing for starters ... relaxing in nature... and visiting my little loves - Lucky goats to have this home and 40 acres to call their new home!
In the past week, I have Broken toes, relocated a couple does and all five of the precious accidental kids, picked comfrey, lathered in arnica gel… woe was me… A simple walk with Dancer makes it all better. Dasher is next! Ending this trip around the sun soon… will the beans and corn ever come up? Zucchini and cukes are looking good. Loofah… not so much! I love gardening. I love my goats. I love my clients… there is simply too much to do! How was your day, my friends?
This is the kind of home I seek to preserve these rare and critically endangered goats. Three little girls, a new momma and her husband that knows “happy wife — happy life!”

As heartbreaking it is to part with my loves, seeing them in good homes with big areas to browse makes it hurt a little less. Many more conservationists needed for breeding stock.
