Position : Machine shop estimator

We’re a rapidly growing industrial solutions provider with deep roots in precision machining and field services — ramping up our 5-axis CNC and production capabilities. Due to a sustained increase in workflow, we’re seeking an experienced Machine Shop Estimator who can step in and contribute immediately. This role is ideal for someone confident in their craft and ready to hit the ground running — we’re not looking to train for this position at this time.

What You’ll Do:

Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for CNC and manual machining projects
Review drawings, models, and specifications to determine process requirements
Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to ensure efficient project ex*****on
Manage multiple concurrent quotes and timelines with accuracy and consistency
Communicate directly with customers and vendors to ensure scope clarity
What We’re Looking For:

Proven track record in estimating within a CNC or job shop environment
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials
Ability to interpret complex prints, models, and specifications
Familiarity with ISO standards and quality systems is a strong plus
Highly organized and capable of managing several high-value projects at once
Able to work independently and make sound decisions under tight deadlines

We use Fusion 360 and run multiple HAAS, Okuma, and Mazak machines. 5-axis experience is preferred. We also have 3D laser scanning capabilities for select projects.

Our fabrication division serves as a strategic asset in ensuring rapid turnaround times. When discovery work is identified, we efficiently address it, offering comprehensive turn-key solutions from design to delivery.
