Dani, our Otomí artisan from Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, shared these beautiful moments from El Costumbre — an ancestral Otomí tradition celebrated on May 5th. 🤍
Families gather with music, dance, flowers, incense, seeds, and animal offerings in ceremonies of gratitude and prayer — honoring the earth while asking for rain, good harvests, work, health, and blessings for their communities.
Otomi embroidery always makes me happy 💕
