A day in the life preparing for IRONMAN 70.3 Shanghai π¨π³πββοΈπ΄ββοΈπββοΈ
Started the morning with an easy 10K run with my dog, followed by a 2 hour outdoor ride on the road bike. Later in the day, I did another 1 hour 16 minute indoor bike session focused on heat training with a heater running in the room. Finished everything off with cold tub recovery.
Around 4 hours of training today. No swimming β mainly focusing on improving my biking and running right now. πͺ
The QuickPro TR:ONE officially made it from China to the United States π¨π³β‘οΈπΊπΈ

The minutes leading up to an Ironman swim start are always the most nerve-wracking for me πββοΈ
Heart rate is already elevated, and thereβs a lot going through my mind. I focus on controlling my breathing, staying relaxed, and preparing for those first few minutes once the race begins.
Once the gun goes off, everything settles in and it becomes instinct.
